Conductive seals are materials that have been engineered specifically to maintain the mechanical integrity of a system while establishing a dependable electrical connection across a sealed interface. The principal purpose of this component is to impede the ingress of impurities, including grime, moisture and gases, while concurrently guaranteeing the uninterrupted flow of electrical impulses or power. Find out what Technical Manager Caio has to say in Power Electronics News about conductive sealing materials and the need for them in electric motors and industrial applications: https://bit.ly/3ymebcL

The new water reduction system at the facility in Ersmark in Sweden, operational since October 2022, employs a new approach by recovering significant heat from machinery and using air for cooling in summer. This investment not only addresses machine overheating but also drastically cuts water usage and recovers 250 MWh of energy annually. This energy recovery allows for free hot water showers, heating water for washing, and redistributing heat throughout the building, enhancing comfort and efficiency. The system functions through the installation of heat pumps that facilitate both cooling and energy recovery. This project contributes to the 12th United Nations goal to "Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all." Learn more here👉 https://bit.ly/3ypBDFH Fredrik Ferm, Technical Manager at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Ersmark, states, "Together with my team member Martin Fahlgren, we've achieved a significant milestone. This project has enabled us to save 250.000 m3 of water annually. Furthermore, as excess heat from machine cooling is recovered, we've also achieved 250 MWh of annual energy savings.“ #ProtectingTheEssential #ShapingIndustryfromtheInside
